The seven great dunmer houses.
In modern times there are 5 great houses:
Only 3 of these houses have interest in Vvandenfell. The 3 great houses color themselves by their traditional colors: Red for Redoran, yellow for Hlaalu, brown for Telvanni. Thus members of the house Hlaalu are collectively known as Yellows.
